The Renesis rotary engine is a dual-rotor masterpiece of automotive engineering. With its 1.3 liter, 238 horsepower with a maximum of 9000 revolutions per minute, helped by a 6-speed manual box, the drive is surprisingly even and level without major ups and downs, making a car much more friendly to the RX-7. There is also a 6-speed automatic box that comes with a 212 hp version of the same engine and though it only reached 7500 rpm drives quite well, making it a very fun car to drive, no matter which version is. For this year have an update as to the exterior and interior design, with subtle changes as the fascia, the board, the wheels and seats. While access to the rear seats is relatively easy with the rear doors suicide rate, the actual space is quite small, making them virtually useless, any adult of average size bear more than 15 minutes in there.
The rotary engine is pretty good, but seems to fall a bit short in terms of power, hopefully there is a turbo version as that of the RX-7. Undoubtedly the Mazda RX-8 is a sport that does not really belong to any segment, thanks to their single-engine Is this the future of engineering? The potential is undeniable: high power with very good delivery, excellent consumption thanks to its low displacement, emission control level, and allows a 50/50 weight distribution of achieving a better balance in a car with front engine. Perhaps still very unconventional, but who knows, maybe one day .
