Madrid .- The subsidiary of the Japanese firm has launched a contest via the internet to get a design for the model that will represent Spain in a European-wide single-brand race, the Mazda MX-5 Open Race 2010, which will be played by next February at the Adria circuit, in Venice (Italy). Through the microsite www.disenatumx-5.com, contestants can configure their design proposal online, or download an editable template for later re-upload.

Tokyo (Japan) .- The Kiyora concept which Mazda unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show, summarizes the direction the company is taking on Japan's development of its new vehicles, in which expected consumption reductions of 30 % over current models. Kiyora equipped one of the members of the new generation direct injection engine developed by Mazda, the Sky-G 1.3-liter gasoline, coupled with light transmission and ultra-Sky Drive, in addition to equip the i - stop already shown in the Mazda 3 and the recovery of braking energy. The reduction of consumption, therefore, is achieved without the use of an electric unit.

Mazda is planning a new edition of the SUV Tribute. Currently sold in the United States and derived from the Ford Explorer, in the past, the Tribute was also on sale in Europe.
