Leverkusen, 24 August 2009 - Mazda introduces sporting equipment packages under the name Z-Line. The new line is for the Mazda 2 models, the 3 of the first generation, the 6 and the MX-5 available. Other models, including the new Mazda 3, will follow shortly.

The personal car apparently is a way forward; we had already seen the innovative Segway PUMA GM-Pod, and now a Dutch company PAL-V Europe BV takes this concept to another level, the air, with the Personal Air and Land Vehicle PAL -V. This vehicle ground staff and air is a car with the abilities of a helicopter.

What once was an energetic partnership between Mazda and Ford has slowly decomposed into an automotive history sidebar. The B-Series is now just a two-vehicle lineup based on the Ford Ranger, which is the oldest compact-truck platform on the market. Both come with 6-foot-long cargo beds. There are no trim levels and few options for either truck.
