Toyota will provide hybrid technology to Mazda?

Mazda is in talks with Toyota for hybrid technology to acquire the largest manufacturer in the world: according to Reuters, the news beat the Japanese financial newspaper Nikkei is definitely reliable, despite the two carmakers have officially denied any contacts.
The agreement, according to sources with the two manufacturers of the Rising Sun should cover all the key parts of the hybrid power train, batteries for electric motors themselves. Obviously, the benefits would be great for both contracting parties: the Toyota forfeit a good amount, the other to enter Hiroshima holds a cutting-edge technology and has been used.
But not all. The rumors go even further: according to some fact, Toyota may soon start talks with other Japanese manufacturers to sell its hybrid technology. Mazda, if so, would be only the first step…
